Daniel Pinheiro is a Portuguese photographer and director, specializing in natural history. His academic path is marked by the Degree in Communication and Multimedia Design by the Instituto Politécnico de Coimbra, Audiovisual Technician at the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation and the Wildlife Documentary Production Master’s Degree from the University of Salford in England where he learned from great professionals such as David Attenborough, Niel Lucas, among others.

His works have already been broadcasted in Portuguese channels like SIC, RTP and TVI, having obtained audience records in the format of natural history on Portuguese television. He has participated in several productions in Portugal, Spain, Peru, Brazil and Argentina, highlining the series “Wild Untamed Brazil” for the National Geographic Channel.

He has published in numerous renowned magazines such as National Geographic Magazine, Vanity Fair Italy, among others.

Within the vast list of filmography are the various documentaries on Portuguese rivers and migrations of birds.
