Luísa finished her master degree in Biological Engineering, however that never felt like a fulfilling life path to her.
Always wandering from mountain to mountain with a camera in hand, it was on the way to an engineering job interview that she was struck by the idea that spending her time in the mountains could be a way of living.
From then on all choices led to more travel, more mountains and more adventures.
Whether it was trekking the massifs of Picos de Europa for several days, ascending peaks in the Pyrinees, volunteering in India or finding inspiration wandering amongst the giants of Nepal, the camera was always in hand. The will to share those spaces through images and wild experiences that’s what drove her to become a photographer and a mountain guide.
