Matilde Fieschi

Matilde Fieschi, independent photographer, lives and works in Lisbon. She studied visual arts and with a scholarship graduated in Photography and Visual Culture. With the authorial project “METAMORFOSE” she integrated two collective exhibitions in Lisbon and Mértola. Simultaneously with the exploration of photography as art, curiosity and fascination for finding stories led her to photojournalism. The experiences, the moments, the proximity to people, led her to realize that this is the way to go. Her work passes through one of the main Portuguese media, the Público newspaper.
