Ricardo Guerreiro was born in Funchal in 1977 and currently lives in Almada.
Since young age that his interests like nature have made and continue to be part of his life.
Graduated in Physics at the University of Lisbon, he is dedicated to bird watching. He finds in nature and in the rural world his work motives.
His images have been published in natural history books and magazines such as National Geographic Portugal and Visão and his films transmitted in the natural history spaces of SIC.
He is the author of the book “Almada Natureza Revelada”, a trip on the natural heritage in an urban environment, and co-author of the films «Arrábida – da Serra ao Mar», «Almada – Entre o Rio e o Mar», «Al-Rábita – a Serra e o Homem» and «Reino Maravilhoso – Por Terras do Alvão e do Marão».
