Ricardo A. Nascimento entered a Master in Mechanical Engineering without having the slightest idea of what he wanted to do in life. He got a small camera to take pictures of his friends while they were surfing, so he got a water box so he could be in the water, where the action was. He managed to do some photography shows, did some seasons in Indonesia to improve his art but one day he broke his right wrist while skating and was still for two and a half months. The funny thing is that you can’t take pictures without your right hand, so he took his tripod and started filming a couple of friends, and that’s how he made his first video. He’s been hooked ever since. Eventually, he found the courage to follow his dreams and exchanged a master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering for cinema and here he is on his way to becoming a filmmaker.
